Note: Recover the refrigerant before any hose assemblies are loosened or any bolts are loosened.
1. Recover the air conditioner refrigerant from the air conditioner system. The correct charge is 0.9 kg (2.0 lb). Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, “Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant” for the procedure. Refer to Dealer Service Tool Catalog, NENG2500, “Air Conditioning Tools” for the correct tools.
2. Remove bolts (2) in order to remove plate (1) . The weight of plate (1) is approximately 13 kg (29 lb).
