6. Set the selector to the ‘N’ position on the quadrant.
7. Remove the nut and washer securing the selector lever to the gearbox shaft and detach the lever from the shaft.
8. Unscrew the carpet retainer ring securing screws and remove the ring.
9. Ease back the carpet surrounding the selector assembly and remove the selector housing retaining screws.
10. Lift out selector assembly complete with rod and lever.
