8. Install a nylon strap and a hoist on the hydraulic pump (13) and remove from vehicle. Weight of pump is 152 lb. (69 kg).
Install Hydraulic Pump (Later)
1. Put a nylon strap and hoist on hydraulic pump (1). Lift pump in position in vehicle.
2. Install plate assembly (3) in vehicle and make an attachment of the hydraulic pump to plate assembly with bolts (2).
3. Put pump group in position and install four bolts (4) to hold it in place. Tighten bolts to a torque of 34 ± 5 lb.ft. (46 ± 7 N·m).

1. Remove plug (1) and drain the oil from the circle drive housing in a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the circle drive housing is 7 L (1.8 gal U.S.). Install plug (1).
2. Bend lock (2) away from nut (3).
3. Remove nut (3), lock (2), spacer (4) and the O-ring seal from circle drive shaft (7).
4. Remove nuts (6) and washers from the long studs of the circle drive housing.
5. Install Tooling (A) and a hoist to the circle drive housing.
6. Remove bolts (8) and the spacers that hold the circle drive housing to the circle draw bar.
7. Lift the circle drive enough in order to remove pinion gear (5) from shaft (7) and from engagement with the circle. Remove the circle drive from the circle. The weight of the circle drive is 45 Kg (100 lb).
8. Remove the Duo-Cone seal from the pinion.

7. Separate rear section of steering metering pump (10) from front section of steering metering pump (11).
Put identification marks on five hose assemblies (12) for installation purposes.
8. Disconnect five hose assemblies (12) from rear section of steering metering pump (10). Remove rear section of metering pump (10). Plug the hose assemblies in order to prevent the loss of oil, and to keep dirt out of the oil system.
9. Remove front section of steering metering pump (11) from the control group.
Install Steering Metering Pump
1. Make sure all of the components of the steering metering pump are clean prior to installation of the pump.
During the installation, check the condition of all the O-ring seals used on the hydraulic lines that were disconnected. If any of these seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement.
