UPPERSTRUCTURE
The revolving platform is a fabricated box sectioned open frame structure which carries the main module and distributes the attachment and torque forces to the slew ring mounting. The revolving platform is machined at one multi-function tool to ensure consistent accuracy in all planes and to receive without stress the jig assembled modules. The spread at the rear of the frame provides a wide support for the single piece cast steel counterweight.
