1. ABS module
ABS works by automatically pumping or pulsing the brakes when brake lock-up is detected. Four individual wheel speed sensors and modulators control front and rear wheels. When a certain wheel is locking up, wheel speed sensors signal electronic controller, which regulates brake pressure so that lock-up is avoided. This helps the driver bring vehicle to a controlled and stable stop, reducing chance of over braking. ABS also allows the vehicle to steer under ABS braking control.
4 – Channel ABS has four wheel speed sensors and four wheel modulator valves.
