Hitches, drawbars, and implement couplings – Front hitch
Front hitch – Remove
DANGER
Lift and handle all heavy components using lifting equipment of appropriate lifting capacity. Make sure that units or parts are supported by suitable slings or hooks. Make sure that no-one is in the vicinity of the load to be lifted. Failure to comply could result in serious injury or death.
WARNING
Handle all parts carefully. Do not put your hands or fingers between parts. Wear suitable safety clothing safety goggles, gloves and shoes.
1. Fully lower the front hitch.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable, for further information refer to Battery – Disconnect (55.302).
3. Remove the lower lift link pin retaining nuts.
4. Remove the lower lift link retaining pins and remove lower lift links.
5. Remove the retaining pin and remove the top link.
6. Release the condensor retaining clips (1) and remove the condensor hinge bolt (2). Detach the condensor and carefully position it on top of the engine.
7. Remove the oil cooler rear retaining bolts.
8. Detach the cooling assembly brackets from the oil cooler.
9. Detach the oil cooler.
10. Carefully secure the oil cooler to one side.
11. Disconnect the front hitch electrical connectors.
