• Install the reverse idler gear cover or transmission power takeoff according the following manners after applying the sealant.
Be sure not to allow the sealant to be displaced.
Reverse idler gear cover: Install in three minutes Transmission power take-off: Install before sealant dries
• Do not start the engine within one hour after installing the re- verse idler gear cover or transmission power take-off.
• When loosening or removing reverse idler gear cover or transmission power take-off mounting bolts, be sure to reapply thesealant.
